Billy Byler
Lead Pastor
Pastor Billy was called to serve as lead pastor in August of 2024 and has served in full-time ministry since 2012. God has remained faithful in his life despite tragedy and loss, and he desires everyone to experience the same redemption and healing, especially in the local church. Pastor Billy graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University in 2005 and enjoyed a seven-year career as a sportswriter in Augusta, GA before answering the call to ministry. He was ordained as an elder in the Church of the Nazarene in 2018 and served as lead pastor at Winfied (KS) First Church of the Nazarene before coming to Woodland Lakes. His wife, CJ, is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker in private practice at Heritage Family Counseling Services. They have two beautiful daughters.
Cyndee Price
Discipleship Pastor
Pastor Cyndee joined the staff as discipleship pastor in 2026. She is a licensed minister in the Church of the Nazarene and earned a Master's degree in Biblical Studies from Colorado Christian University. She leads an in-depth Bible study on Sunday mornings and helps equip and develop others to become disciples and make disciples of Jesus. Pastor Cyndee and her husband, Bill, live in Wichita.
Tiffany Newell
Children's Ministry Director
Tiffany became the Children’s Ministry Director in 2021 and oversees the entire Children’s Ministry, which includes all volunteers, Sunday School classes, Sunday Morning Children’s Worship, preschool-aged and younger classes, and Wednesday Evening Kids group. She is exploring her call to ministry and received a local minister's license in 2026 and is currently taking classes through Nazarene Bible College. Tiffany and her husband, Kyle, and their kids live in Derby.

Brenda Schwing
Administrative Assistant
Brenda does a little bit of everything! In addition to answering the phones and helping the pastors with whatever they need, she creates graphics, manages the calendar, and more. She is an essential part of the church operations, and she keeps the church office open Mondays through Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Brenda is from Sterling, KS and attended Sterling College with a double major in Accounting and Business Administration.
