Midweek Check-in (July 29, 2026)
Good evening, church family! It’s time to stop for a midweek check-in with a quick story: A kid named Joseph had some… family issues. His older brothers (there were many) were jealous of their father’s disproportional love for Joseph. Yeah, the dad played favorites. And the brothers noticed. Joseph didn’t help matters. Good afternoon, church family! Let’s pause for a midweek check-in. There are certain skills that I, as a middle-aged dad, have developed out of necessity. Most of these skills deal with lawn care and light bulb maintenance. But an essential skill is leading the family road trip. Some call it vacation. That’s quaint.
