Good morning, church family and happy New Year’s Eve!
On this final day of 2025, we say goodbye to a full year. It’s a good moment to look back on the successes and failures, the challenges and victories of the past year. It’s also a good time to look forward and commit or recommit to goals with new habits and routines.

In the book of Psalms, the final five Psalms all start and end with the exact same word: Hallelujah! It’s translated into English as: Praise the Lord!
So I hope your celebration tonight is a Psalms celebration.
As we end one year, we end with: Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
As we start a new year, we start with: Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
May the God of time and space grant you many blessings in this new year. We serve a God who has been faithful in the past and goes before us into the future. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
Your pastor,
Billy Byler

CHICKEN & NOODLE LUNCH: Join us Sunday, Jan. 11 right after the morning worship service for a fundraiser lunch of chicken & noodles! The cost is $10 per person or $30 per household.
BLOOD DRIVE: We are partnering with Angel Wings Learning Center and the American Red Cross to host a blood drive in early 2026. However, we need to make sure we have enough people willing to donate blood. Potential donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in generally good health. We won’t be able to set a date until we know we have enough potential donors, so if you are interested, please sign up on the sheet at the welcome center in the church lobby. Thank you!
BAPTISM: Our next opportunity to be baptized is coming up in January. If you are interested in participating in the sacrament of baptism, please contact Pastor Billy.
HOLIDAY SCHEDULE: The entire church campus, including church offices and Angel Wings Learning Center, will be closed for New Year’s Day on Jan. 1.
JUST FOR FUN: Hey, you read Pastor Billy's midweek check-in all the way to the end! As a reward, check out these crazy stories I came across recently:
·The last three pennies ever made sold at an auction for $800,000.
·I don’t know why this is a thing, but here’s a lamp… that’s a duck… that’s lying on its side… that has become a bestseller on Amazon.
·Groups of people all over the world have made a New Year’s Day tradition out of polar plunges – submerging in frigid water to greet the new year. Here’s the science behind it.
