MIDWEEK CHECK-IN
It’s Wednesday and the last day of July! It’s time for your Midweek Check-In!

If you were to ask my wife or my family, they would tell you that I have my own personal quirks and oddities and I am sure the same is true for everyone else. Each one of us is unique in our own ways. We each have our own unique DNA; our own unique fingerprints and the bible tells us in Psalm 139 that we have been “…fearfully and wonderfully made!”
Pastor Billy will be no different. He is going to come with his unique personality and giftings. He will not be like his predecessors, nor should we expect him to be. As a church body let’s resist the urge to change him into who we think he should be. Let’s embrace his unique quirks, let’s learn Billy and C.J.’s love languages and let’s work to be a supportive and encouraging church family to our new shepherd! (Ya’ll do great at this!) Don’t forget, you make a huge difference in the life of your pastoral staff!

QUICK REMINDERS:
NAME BADGES:
In preparation for Pastor Billy and C.J.’s arrival, Bill Price is trying to make sure everyone who wants a name badge has one. This will be a BIG help to Billy and C.J. as they learn to put faces with names. If you do not have a name badge all ready and would like one either let Bill Price know or sign up at the welcome desk in the foyer. Thank you, Bill, for taking on this task!
SAVE THE DATE:
Pastor Billy and C.J. Byler’s first Sunday with us will be on August 18th. This will be a day of celebration and fellowship. There will be a potluck after service that day. If you would be willing to bring a side dish and/or a desert, there is a sign-up sheet at the welcome desk in the foyer. You will NOT want to miss this Sunday!
STUFF THE BACKPACKS:
This Sunday after worship we will be stuffing the backpacks in preparation for the start of school! A pulled pork lunch will be provided. Come join in the fun as we minister to Adams and Seltzer Elementary schools together! Feel free to contact Sherilyn Elder for further details.
VBS DECORATION:
VBS is next week! With that being said, we will be decorating for VBS this coming Sunday afternoon/evening. Please come and help us get ready to welcome neighborhood families into our church home! Remember, many hands make light work!
